Dva moguća uzorka(patterns) su infinitive i nastavak -ing:

PRAVILA:

INFINITIV KORISTIMO:

1.Nakon glagola uma i odluke

   afford

   agree

   ovdje dovršite tabelu na str 158 koja počinje glagolima afford,agree....

We've decided to move abroad.....DECIDED je glagol uma pa stoga poslije njega koristimo infinitiv TO MOVE

2.Nakon pridjeva i imenica

It's impossible to save money.

This is a great idea to support.

NASTAVAK ING KORISTIMO:

1.Nakon glagola osjećaja (like,love,adore,hate,loathe,can't stand....)

I like swimming.

2.Nakon prijedloga (to,at,with,by,of,from,about.....)

I'm good at finding things.

I'm looking forward to seeing you.

Please, go to pages 62 and 63 in your student's book. Read the four emails and answer the questions in exercise 1 on page 62 for each email. Then write a similar email to your parents (you are in a foreign country and you have done something that you would like your parents to either not find out or not to know the whole truth about ). Translate any unknown words in the 4 emails.
